Computes, classifies, records, and verifies numerical data for use in maintaining department records by performing the following duties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Create simple database spreadsheets.
Reads work order or follows oral instructions to ascertain materials needed to complete orders.
Prepares individual item and case labels for work orders.
Data entry of production paperwork including bin transfers.
Data entry of discrepancies and vendor rejects and forwards email to Buyer.
Data entry of department reporting of individual lines.
Utilize SAP to complete the following transactions: finished goods transfers, bulk transfers, receiver packing list, transfers floor stock, and PO reject transfers.
Inventory counting as needed.
Work with label database files and create labels.
Run label sets for customer orders.
Perform preventive maintenance on zebra label printers.
Answer department incoming calls and route to appropriate person.
Maintain neat, clean and well-organized work area.
Timely and regular attendance.

Good math skills

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Must be flexible in working a variety of job duties and be willing to rotate positions in order to accommodate production needs. Must have basic understanding of computers, be able to input data and follow strict procedures for processes and instructions.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
