Our Executive Briefing Center hosts the leadership of our most valued prospects, customers and partners to understand their strategic priorities and ensure we are in the best position to support them.
The goal of the briefing center is to engage customer and partner relationships accelerate business growth and provide knowledge of SHI's values and services by hosting meetings, events and Summits within the space. SHI has an exciting opportunity in the Marketing Event Planning department in the Executive Briefing Center (EBC), as an EBC Event Assistant/Clerk. The Marketing EBC Events Team Lead and Marketing EBC Events Manager supervise the EBC Event Assistant/Clerk position. The Event Assistant/Clerk position will assist the Events team with the planning and execution of events held at the Executive Briefing Center and work as part of team to support events that contribute to the overall experience of SHI. The EBC Event Assistant/Clerk will assist with meeting setup and execution, as well as providing backup to all other EBC positions.
Qualifications/Minimum Skills Required
Previous related experience in a hotel and/or conference center
Experience with audio/visual equipment such as laptops, projectors and microphones
Working knowledge of supporting events
Shipping and Receiving
Required to safety lift and move items up to 70 lbs.
Drive company vehicles to transport supplies between buildings
