Job Summary

• Responsible for the operation of the room service call center.

• Providing quality customer service while maintaining and operating the computer system for patient meal selection preparations.

• Responsible for visiting patient rooms and communicating menu program to patients

Qualifications

Education

• High school education or the equivalent GED.

• Knowledge of modified diets preferred.

• Preferred computer skills.

Experience

• Prefer six(6) months experience in a hospital food service department working with special diets.

(Above requirements can be met by the equivalent combination of eductaion and experience).

Licensure/Certification

• Must obtain a food handlers permit from the Cleveland County Health Dept. before hire (or within one (1) week of hire).

Compensation/Benefits

• $10.44-$17.05/hr depending on previous work experience.
