Job Summary

We are seeking a File Clerk for our Biologics Testing Solutions site located in Malvern, PA.

Perform routine clerical duties in support of a manager, director and/or department.

The following are responsibilities related to the File Clerk position.

  • Provide routine clerical support, such as preparing routine departmental and corporate forms, collating and distributing information, and receiving and distributing mail.

  • Relay information and request to departmental personnel.

  • Retrieve and deliver requested departmental files and/or documents both intra-departmentally and between other buildings or departments on site.

  • Establish and maintain files.

The following are minimum requirements related to the File Clerk position.

  • Education: High school diploma or General Education Degree (G.E.D.) and one year of college or equivalent college-level coursework.

  • Experience: 1-2 years related experience. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted as a satisfactory substitute for the specific education and experience listed above.

  • Certification/licensure: None.

  • Other: Experience utilizing computers for data entry, spreadsheets, and document preparation.

    Ability to read, speak, and understand English required. Experience in laboratory animal setting and/or knowledge of related technical terminology strongly preferred.

As a Pharmacy Clerk, you will: Assist with maintenance of patient files; Sort and file Physician Orders and all clinical documentation. Answer and route telephone calls, arrange shipment dates, and assists with new referral coordination as needed. Provide administrative support to the specialty team – typing/faxing/tracking physician's orders, discharging patient from service, filing of paperwork in the correct sections of the medication Call patients to confirm delivery of coordinating with internal team members, documenting discussions in progress notes, rescheduling patients for subsequent deliveries Track patient pumps – swapping out when pump is due for PM, twice a year wall to wall inventory, retrieving pumps when patient discharges from service Typical work hours for this position are Monday – Friday, 11:30am to 8:00pm ,with an opportunity for over-time based on business need.
