Requirements
The Accounts Payable Clerk is assigned to perform any and all advanced clerical or secretarial functions which require greater judgment and initiative in non-routine situations. Performs any other miscellaneous duties as required by Supervisory personnel in the department to which assigned, including all aspects of vendor set-up and maintenance, data entering functions, stuffing checks, as well as customer contacts either in person or by telephone.
Education and Work Experience
High School diploma and 1-5 years of Clerical or Accounts Payable related experience.
Specialized Knowledge and Skills
Must be able to type 45 words per minute or greater, strong attention to detail, able to work in a fast paced environment and understand basic High School Math including working with percents and being able to balance items.
Equipment and Applications
PCs, word processing, spreadsheet and database software.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
General office environment. No special physical demands required.
Compensation
$17.38 per hour. Potential Safety Bonus 2%.
Compensation
$17.38 to $22.68 per hour. Potential Safety Bonus 2%. The company reserves the right to determine the number of positions awarded for this requisition.
