Job Description: Assistant Enrichment Supervisor - Community Programs Full-time position Schedule: 12 months, Monday-Friday Beginning Hourly Rate: $18.80 Full Benefits included:
Medical, dental, vision, paid holidays, vacation, sick leave, retirement Summary: Assistant Enrichment Supervisor helps provide leadership and coordination in developing, implementing, and supervising youth and adult enrichment classes, specialty after-school programs, evening classes, summer camps, driver education, aquatics, tutoring, archery, STEAM, and performing arts programs that involve over 3,000 participants annually. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Manage day-to-day operations of the assigned enrichment programs, including assistance in development and execution of program budget Provide logistical support to the supervisors and department as needed, in order to ensure reliable and accurate data essential for operations Greet visitors and callers, handle their inquiries and direct them to the appropriate person Document important program information; maintain databases, process registrations, schedule programs, input data in registration systems Supervision of multiple site programs Send family welcome emails and regularly communicate with families and the community Possess interpersonal skills that enable the employee to interact with children, staff, parents and supervisors in a professional and courteous manner Prepare program facilities and recreation areas, as required Administer program evaluation process Recruit, lead, support and manage assigned staff and volunteers Recognize community needs and recommend new program offerings Maintain positive interactions with internal and external constituents Attend meetings and events as required Keep up with current trends and developments in the field Coordinate logistics for facility management Nurture professional growth and building of staff morale Assist in the new hiring process by ensuring form completions and reference checks Attend fairs, expos, conferences, or training, as needed Help develop marketing and social media strategies to encourage participation Other supervisory duties as assigned by supervisor or by the department director Occasional weekend and evening hours may be required Education and/or Experience: Bachelor's Degree in Recreation, Arts & Sciences, Education, Human Development, or similar field and a minimum 1 year equivalent experience in management of recreation and camp programs preferred, or 60 college credits with a minimum of 2 years of camp or recreation programming experience Prior experience managing a staff with multiple employees Prior experience recruiting, training and managing volunteers preferred Prior experience working with community or school programs preferred Prior experience working with a diverse group of stakeholders is preferred Working knowledge and prior experience with online registration systems Working knowledge and prior experience with facility scheduling software Excellent organizational, written and verbal communication skills Proficient in MS Office software applications and Google applications If you are interested in applying for this position, please apply via our online posting at https://lindbergh.tedk12.com/hire/ViewJob.aspx?JobID1563.
