Indiana Department of Revenue
The Indiana Department of Revenue is responsible for providing service to Indiana citizens regarding state tax matters. Additionally, the department administers state tax laws, develops regulations and makes decisions about tax policy.
The Clerical Assistant receives all Department of Revenue mail and sorts for distribution to other processing sections. The Clerical Assistant is point person to sign for deliveries and deliver and/or pick-up inter-office mail. They are responsible for filing, refiles, and organization of the warehouse.
A day in the life
Sort incoming mail by P.O. Box Determine if form type gets cut, open mail on Omation.
Take completed trays to the Doc Prep section.
Sort incoming inter-office mail, deliver inter-office mail, pick up inter-office mail, sign for deliveries, file documents in warehouse, pull requests, and refile, run the ACE
