The Department of Corrections, State Correctional Institute at Chester is seeking an organized, positive individual to provide clerical support.

As a Clerical Assistant 2 you will provide clerical and office support to your assigned institution. You will be responsible for filing, typing a variety of documents, and inputting data for various departments within the institution, operate office equipment and maintaining computer databases and records.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
Full-time employment.
Work hours are 8:00am to 4:00pm, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
Salary: Selected candidates who are new to employment within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will begin employment at the starting annual salary of $34,621 (before taxes).

QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
Six months as a Clerical Assistant 1 (commonwealth title); or
Graduation from high school; or
An equivalent combination of experience and training.
