We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to contribute to the development of advanced Tools and Services in a Linux environment. This role involves working in a cloud setting with open-source technologies such as Kubernetes and Docker, supporting a containerized landlord/tenant architecture. This position is ideal for engineers passionate about driving efficiency in software production within a DevOps culture.

The team designs, develops, and maintains systems of web-based analysis tools. The software suite includes containerized React user interfaces, Java and Go microservices, a custom REST security, and various data stores including MongoDB and an OpenSearch cluster. It offers users access to real-time alerting, historical querying using smart query builders, as well as document storage and retrieval.

Responsibilities for this position include working with development and configuration management teams to implement CI/CD pipelines, establishing staging clusters, and deploying and testing software. Additional tasks may include creating infrastructure through code, writing Helm charts, transferring software artifacts between systems, and creating documentation. What You Will Be Doing:

Supporting and optimizing containerized systems architecture. Utilizing and deploying containerization technologies such as Docker. Administering and monitoring Kubernetes clusters to ensure optimal performance.

Working with development and configuration management teams to implement CI/CD pipelines. Establishing staging clusters, deploying, and testing software. Employing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles.

Creating infrastructure through code, writing Helm charts, transferring software artifacts between systems, and creating documentation. Troubleshooting and maintaining large Linux clusters to ensure reliability. Required Skills: 20 years of experience with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (or related field), or 24 years without the degree.

Salary Range: $165,000 - $ 220,000 The provided salary range is an approximation based on current market data and may vary.
