A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A GMP CLEANING TECHNICIAN

As a GMP Cleaning Technician, you are at the core of who we are as a company. You arrive for your shift ready to get to work.

You enjoy "getting in the zone" and working efficiently but are also friendly and service-oriented in all your interactions with clients and fellow team members. Whether it's keeping updated on training requirements, gowning up, logging completed SOP procedures performed, or the meticulous process involved in fully disinfecting surfaces using GMP standards, you get great satisfaction out of checking each task off and being able to physically see what you've accomplished. You take pride in being responsible for ensuring that your assigned areas are always in compliance with our client's standards.

You report maintenance repair problems to your supervisor and make sure that all non-conforming items are reported and logged on a daily basis. We have a reputation for the highest levels of quality work, and this is partly thanks to the great job that you do!

Job Summary

Reporting and working directly with the Project Manager, as a GMP Cleaning Technician you will be responsible for providing highly technical cleaning services in pharmaceutical industries. Work is performed inside clean room controlled environments where particulate, temperatures, relative humidity and pressure are controlled to specified limits.

GMP Technicians must maintain clean rooms and laboratory space. The objective of the GMP Cleanroom Cleaning Technician is to ensure that all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) are followed and that all cleaning, disinfecting, and documentation expectations adhere to the customer's Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Good Documentation (GDP), all training requirements are maintained at a status of "Current" and that all customer requests for special tasks are accomplished in a timely and acceptable fashion.

Education and Work Experience

A high school diploma or equivalent. Some GMP work experience preferred, especially with sterile gowning techniques. Willingness to understand and practice principles of aseptic techniques and universal precautions.

Knowledge and Skills

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos is required. Must be dependable and meet the attendance requirements. Must be willing to work in a team environment and exhibit a high level of professionalism.
