Classroom Teacher / Special Education

Job Description:

Full-time position beginning with the 2024-25 school year. The person in this position will be responsible for developing special education students' success in academics, interpersonal skills, and activities of daily living; supervising students within the classroom; developing lesson plans and delivering group and individual student instruction within established guidelines.

Must be able to work with all special education students in Grades 9-12.

Ability to work in an inclusive environment.

Ability to adhere to hours set forth for the position.

Must have the ability to collaborate with numerous stakeholders, ability to work with students with IEP's, ability to facilitate IEP and Special Education meetings, and be able to manage numerous IEP and caseload needs.

Candidate must have required PA certification in Special Education.
