Position Title: Short-Term Substitute Social Studies Teacher

Location: High School

The Eastern Lebanon County School District is seeking applications for a Short-Term Substitute Social Studies Teacher at ELCO High School from the first day of the 2024-2025 school year, or through approximately November 10, 2024. This position provides direct instruction to students in grades 9 through 12 in a variety of Social Studies courses, with a particular emphasis on Global Studies and Geography.

The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent communication skills (verbal and written), strong presentation and organizational skills, and utilize best practices for Social Studies instruction. We seek candidates who are student-centered, possess the ability to engage all students in learning activities, and exhibit interpersonal skills to work collaboratively as part of a team.

• Current Act 34, 151 and 114
