Villa Duchesne is seeking a full-time Middle School Humanities Teacher for the 2024-2025 school year.

Our Middle School is growing, and we are seeking teachers who can teach middle school English and Social Studies. Candidates with a bachelor's degree in English or History and three to five years of teaching experience are preferred. We need teachers who love middle schoolers to join our dynamic and highly relational team.

The ideal candidate will also:

• possess a commitment to using a variety of pedagogical approaches and differentiation strategies in the classroom;
• collaborate with colleagues to continuously improve curriculum and find new ways to integrate Humanities skills into each class;
• be organized and responsive to lesson planning, grading, and communication;
• be a relational educator who contributes to the life of the school community as an advisor, club moderator, and proctor;
• be able to use technology to build understanding; and
• be dedicated to the success of each student.
