Job Description:

Available: Permanent position that begins with the 2024-2025 school year. Official start date will be August 27, 2024.

Salary & Benefits: In accordance with the Joel Barlow Education Association's bargaining unit agreement. Comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications:

• CT teaching certification required in Social Studies/History, 7-12

• Enthusiasm for teaching analytical skills in reading and the recursive writing process

• Creativity in designing active and engaging lessons

• Excellent verbal and written communications skills

• Ability to maintain effective relationships with students, peers, and parents
