High School Science Teacher - (Fall semester)

Position: Temporary (1 semester) Science Teacher

Responsibilities:

The Science Department is looking for a teacher to teach academic chemistry and/or other science courses. The ideal candidate for this position would:

• Prepare and deliver science lessons

• Supervise laboratory activities for students

• Administer a variety of formative and summative assessments to measure student learning

• Identify and implement appropriate differentiated interventions and enhancements for students

• Use technology (including online resources and a learning management system) to organize and enhance student learning

Qualifications:

• Degree or certification in Science
• 1-2 years of experience working with students
