Classroom Teacher / Science

Job Description:

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Middle School Science and Math Teacher to join our team.

The ideal candidate will foster a positive learning environment, develop engaging and effective lesson plans, and utilize a variety of teaching strategies to support diverse learners. Additionally, integrating Faith into his or her curriculum is paramount to the overall success and growth of our students!

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver high-quality instruction in science and math for grades 6-7.

• Develop and implement lesson plans that align with state standards and school curriculum.

• Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and support to enhance learning.

• Create a classroom environment that encourages student engagement and promotes a love of learning.

• Use technology and hands-on activities to support and enhance instruction.

• Collaborate with other teachers, staff, and parents to support student growth and development.

• Participate in school events, professional development, and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Science, Mathematics, or a related field.

• Valid teaching certification for middle school education.

• Experience teaching middle school students, particularly in science and math.

• Strong knowledge of instructional strategies and curriculum development.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to inspire and motivate students.
