STEAM / INNOVATION TEACHER

New Fairfield Middle School

OVERVIEW:

New Fairfield Middle School is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated STEAM/ Innovation Teacher with a strong background in NGSS and inquiry-based instruction. The ideal candidate will have a passion for fostering creativity and critical thinking in students through an integrated curriculum. The successful applicant will inspire students to engage with STEAM concepts, develop innovative projects and collaborate effectively.

The STEAM program is located in a new, state-of-the art classroom, with a robotics field and video production area. GENERAL DUTIES:

The teacher is responsible for STEAM education for grades 6 - 8.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Secondary CT Certification

Experience in a STEAM related field

Preferred experience teaching Project-Based Learning, which emphasize hands-on and real-world problem solving

SALARY:

Per NFEA Contract
