Classroom Teacher / Physical Education

Job Description:

Position: Physical Education Teacher - .5 FTE

Position/Department: Special Education (Learning Centers)

Position Length: 2024 - 2025 School Year

Start Date: August 20, 2024

Salary Range: Per CESEA contract

Qualifications: CT Certification (165) required.

Candidates must have a degree in special education and be eligible for/hold State of Connecticut teaching certificate required for the position. Candidates with previous teaching experience and a MS/MA in the discipline/field are preferred. See attached job description.

Responsibilities: Available in preschool, elementary and secondary level special education programs.

Work as part of a multidisciplinary team for students with developmental delays, autism spectrum disorders, neurological impairment and serious emotional disabilities. See attached job description.
