Job Description:

The Schuylkill Valley School District has an anticipated vacancy for a Music Teacher at the high school effective with the start of the 2024-25 school year. The Schuylkill Valley School District is highly committed to providing and expanding music instruction and music opportunities for all students.

This position is responsible for implementing the district's music instructional program with students and providing the students with appropriate instruction and a learning environment that will enable each student in the district to master the basic music skills outlined in the curriculum. Current and active PA teaching certificate, demonstrated ability to work cooperatively with others, and acceptable record of attendance required. Knowledge and experience with band and experience with theatrical production are preferred.

In an effort to ensure the continued ability to enhance and expand District programming, the District is seeking candidates who meet the requirements above and who also have experience with teaching strings.
