Capital Preparatory Magnet School Certified Teachers, 2024-2025 School Year

Capital Preparatory Magnet School is a PK - 12, Social Justice, Magnet School, and the only school in Hartford Public Schools with an 11-month school year. This allows our beautiful and capable children to stay in a structured and planned learning environment throughout the year, and also supports the promise of 'Capital Prep' that each of our students will be college ready.

• -Six state championship wins at the high school athletic level

Due to the extended work-year, certified-teachers who work at Capital Prep will receive a 8.7% salary differential annually.
