Bensalem Township School District is hiring a Math Teacher at Snyder Middle School/district wide. This assignment is available for the 2024-25 school year. The goal of this position is to lead students toward the fulfillment of their potential for intellectual, emotional, physical and psychological growth and maturation. SPECIFIC QUALIFICATIONS:

• PDE Approved Certificate in Math to teach Grade 7-8

• Knowledge of content in certification area

• Classroom/group management skills

• Human relations skills

• Planning skills

• Ability to use instructional materials and equipment

• Knowledge of child growth and development

• Instructional skills

• Knowledge and valuing of the origins and nature of high levels if intelligence, including creative expressions of intelligence and how intelligence manifests itself in different domains and in diverse learners.

• Knowledge and understanding of the cognitive, social, and emotional characteristics, needs, and potential challenges experienced by gifted learners from diverse populations.

• Knowledge of enhanced and advanced content and instructional strategies.
