Qualifications:

Must hold Connecticut Teaching Certificate

Ability to work with students from remedial level through honors or advanced placement including calculus and pre-calculus.

Have high motivation and task orientation

Have superior instructional skills, with a commitment to interdisciplinary instruction

Ability to use performance assessments for students

Carry out teaching assignments

To work as a department member and a member of the faculty

To consult with teachers, administrators, staff and parents on a continuing basis

To carry out all facets of the teacher job description consistently and enthusiastically
