Position Title: Family and Consumer Science Teacher

Location: High School

The Eastern Lebanon County School District is seeking applications for the position of Family and Consumer Science Teacher at ELCO High School, starting for the 2024-2025 school year. This position provides direct instruction in the Family and Consumer Sciences to students in grades 9 through 12, with a particular emphasis on food and nutrition courses as well as consumer and family resources management.

The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent communication skills (verbal and written), strong presentation and organizational skills, and utilize best practices for Family and Consumer Sciences instruction. We seek candidates who are student-centered, possess the ability to engage all students in learning activities, and exhibit interpersonal skills to work collaboratively as part of a team. ELCO High School is nearing completion of a renovation project that includes newly remodeled Family and Consumer Science classrooms.

• Current Act 34, 151 and 114
