Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and comprehensible instruction entirely in Spanish in all core elementary subjects that promote Spanish language acquisition across all four domains of language proficiency: speaking, listening, reading, and writing.

• Utilize effective instructional strategies for language immersion environments, such as TPR (Total Physical Response) and CI (Comprehensible Input).

• Create a positive and supportive classroom environment that fosters student confidence and encourages participation in Spanish communication.

Requirements

Certification: A valid (active) Pennsylvania Instructional I/ II certification in ELEMENTARY, K-6 or GRADES PK-4 is required.is required.

Compensation

This position is FLSA Exempt and compensated per SLSD-SLEA Collective Bargaining Agreement.
