Job Description:

Summer School Teacher will be responsible for facilitating student directed use of the Edgenuity curricular courses which is grounded in research and are Common Core, NGSS, and state-standards aligned. The teacher will be expected to provide instructional assistance through the length of the summer school program.

Other responsibilities include: including monitoring student progress, classroom management, submission of grades, and collection of daily attendance. Summer School Teachers will work under the direction of the building based administration.

Areas of Need:

English 9-12, Social Studies, Civics, Math up to Algebra II, Science up to Chemistry

Dates: June 24, 2024- July 25, 2024 (Monday

  • Thursday; except July 4)

Hours: 7:45 am- 2:45 pm;

Student Session 1: 8:00am

  • 11:00 am

Student Session 2: 11:30 am- 2:30 pm

Rate: $44 per hour

District/High School Administration

An Edgenuity training session will be required prior to the start of summer school for any staff not already trained in the program

Positions will be filled based upon student enrollment, teacher certification and program leadership experience

NOTE:

Summer school personnel must be able to work the duration of the program. No vacation or personal time will be granted.
