Classroom Assistant, Old Mission School, San Luis Obispo, CA

We are looking for an instructional assistant to support teachers in our primary classroom. Candidates should have experience working in elementary classroom settings, experience supporting reading and math instruction, and a love of children and learning.

Classroom management experience is also a plus. Yard duty will also be part of the school day.

BA/BS preferred but not required; resume, letter of introduction, three letters of recommendation, and three professional references regarding working with children. Upon hiring DOJ/Diocese of Monterey fingerprint clearance and Diocesan application are required.

Old Mission School is a TK-8 Catholic school in San Luis Obispo, CA. We are looking for outstanding individuals to join our teaching staff who are committed to educating students in mind, body, and spirit.

Candidates possess strong organizational and interpersonal skills and have the ability to communicate effectively with parents and students. Need not be Catholic to apply. Aides are needed Monday-Friday with some flexibility in hours.
