Help with planning and implementing activities to meet the needs and interests of preschool-age children. Assist in the preparation of instructional materials. Provide clerical support.

Requirements / Qualifications

Required: -High school diploma or equivalent.

• 6 semester units of college coursework in Early Childhood Education or Child Development, or willingness to enroll within 130 days of employment.

• Three months experience working or volunteering with preschool-age children in an organized setting.

• First Aid and CPR certification (provided by SLOCOE if needed) must be obtained within 130 days of employment. Desired:

• 6 semester units in Early Childhood Education or Child Development.

*The current openings are for the below school sites: Atascadero ELC: 8:30am-12:30pm Georgia Brown ELC (Paso Robles): 8:00am-12:00pm (Bilingual preferred) Bauer ELC (Paso Robles): 11:45am-3:45pm SLOCOE does not participate in Social Security but contributes to PERS (Public Employees Retirement System) or SISC Defined Benefits. Benefits include medical, dental, vision & life insurance (optional) and paid sick, vacation and personal leave.
