Job Description:

Works independently to ensure all aspects of classified Cybersecurity program elements are addressed in accordance with requirements. Designs, develops, engineers, and implements solutions that meet information system security requirements.

Analyzes threats and risks for the purpose of developing and implementing customized Risk Mitigation plans. Assesses and mitigates information system security threats/risks throughout the system's lifecycle. Develops, executes and maintains a continuous monitoring plan to validate information protection effectiveness.

Validates system configuration and settings in accordance with government regulatory compliance requirements as well as internal counterespionage (insider threat detection and mitigation). Validates system security requirements definition and analysis; establishes system security designs; implements security designs in hardware, software, data, and procedures; verifies security requirements; performs system certification and accreditation planning and testing and liaison activities, and supports secure systems operations and maintenance. Performs user education/briefings on the proper use of the system and program procedures.

Basic Qualifications

Develop change control, configuration management, installation, and implementation planning documentation. Perform information systems security trend analysis; document and report potential risks. Develop information systems security risk and assurance best practices, and other reference materials.

This position requires applicants to have a final secret security clearance. Candidates must be able to obtain a Top Secret clearance upon employment. This position may require an enhanced security review in accordance with Government contract requirements and it is a condition of employment that individuals hired into positions requiring program clearance obtain and maintain such clearance within sufficient time to allow Lockheed Martin meets its business needs.

Knowledge, Skills, Education, & Experience Required: * Minimum six months of related experience in security or customer relations * Ability to read accurately and comprehend, write clearly, and understand in a manner to effectively complete legal reports, narratives, and follow simple directions. Ability to read, interpret, and apply safety rules, penal codes, vehicular codes, radio codes, reports, memos, communications, policies, and other required written materials. Performs facility lockdown as dictated, and screens visitors and employees seeking entry after hours. * Documents all crimes, incidents and safety-related irregularities per department policy and procedure. Exhibits good judgment during critical situations and maintains a professional and authoritative demeanor at all times. Assesses situations with consideration for age of individuals involved.
