Classification and Compensation Analyst

DonorConnect is seeking a full-time Classification and Compensation Analyst. This position is responsible to perform a variety of technical and analytical classification and compensation activities required to attract and retain the best talent available to support the mission, vision, and values of DonorConnect. Under the direction of the Manager, People and Culture, this position ensures the compensation system is competitive, internally equitable, and fiscally responsible. The Classification and Compensation Analyst advises leadership on the application of compensation programs and analyzes current base and variable pay compensation programs. This position would coordinate the strategic Total Rewards program to balance the reward opportunities available including compensation, benefits, flexibility, performance recognition, and career ladders. Lead the annual performance review cycle and partner with Manager, People and Culture on pay decisions. Conduct job analyses, analyzing existing and proposed classifications. Also, participating in the completion of the 2-year cycle salary survey and external salary surveys, researching and collecting data for best practices to analyze internal pay equity.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Training/Education/Certification:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred, and/or an equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience

  • Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) or SHRM-CP preferred

Experience Required:

  • A minimum of two years of directly related experience implementing compensation and classification strategies is preferred

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

  • Highly numerical and analytical with a passion for data

  • Working knowledge of mathematics such as basic equations, formulas, and statistical methods

  • Knowledge of compensation practices such as base pay, variable pay, and merit cycles

  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

  • Knowledge of quantitative principles in compensation management

  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements for compensation programs

  • Ability to build and maintain relationships of trust with stakeholders and customers departments while reviewing and resolving classification and compensation issues with employees and leadership

  • Ability to work well in teams and prioritize work

  • A high degree of professionalism

  • Sensitive with the ability to handle confidential information

  • Ability to be well-organized and balance multiple priorities with different deadlines; accurate, and attentive to detail

  • Excellent written and verbal communication
