Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer oriented Records Classification Analyst to join our team in McLean, VA to provide unparalleled support to our customer and to begin an exciting and rewarding career within ManTech.

A qualified candidate will perform classification review of a variety of items as well as provide

SME guidance and training on related policies and classification following IC Directives.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Draft and implement classification guides utilizing IC community classification directives and tools

  • Provide SME guidance on classification, declassification, marking guidance, and policy requirements in support of IC ITE and the Classification Management Tool (CMT)

  • Provide OCA and Derivative classification training to IC agency and contractor teams

  • Provide timely and accurate customer support to the customer, and industry partners, and other Government agencies

  • Perform Level I and II classification reviews and sanitize/declassify documents to comply with PA/FOIA requirements for approval by the USG

  • Comply and ensure consistency with requirements and procedures outlined in ICD's

  • Perform manual or digital reviews (page-by-page, line-by-line) and make recommendations (retain, refer, declassify) for classification of material

  • Prepare classified documents for review and disposition (i.e.handling, packaging, scanning, and storing classified material incidental to specified security and administrative review)

  • Complete administrative functions associated with declassification process (i.e., enter declassification review results in agency tracking database, document disposition recommendation for each item, etc.)

  • Document final material disposition, after 3rd level review, for declassification, referral, or retention of each item, as appropriate

  • Prepare materials for shipping from, or to, external sites

Security Clearance Requirement:

Active/current TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance is required. Qualifications

Required Qualifications:
  • 5+ years performing records management in the IC. Experience with IC classification procedures and protocols.

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Business Administration, English, Management, or Political Science and 5 years of related professional experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with IC classification marking methodologies and tools

  • Experience advising and consulting on IC programs.

  • Experience writing and implementing classification guides

  • Certified Records Management (CRM) certification.

  • Strong technical written and verbal communication skills essential. Degrees Equivalent Experience/Education
