Local Class A Delivery Driver

• Union

• Pay Rate - $35.00/HR plus OT

• Schedule is Sunday through Thursday, day shift.

• Local Deliveries

• CO2 Tanker pickups, could also be assigned 8 to 10 Route stops per day as well as internal shuttle runs. (full tractor/trailer loads) between branches or plants). NOTE: This position requires that the driver is willing to do route deliveries, shuttle work, and full load.

• Mechanical Aptitude Necessary

• Turn a wrench, connect hoses, etc..

• Shifts Available

• 5 day scheduled work week. Opportunity for OT is consistent (OT is anything over 8 hours per day)

• Schedule available is Saturday to Wednesday. Day shift, 1-2 AM Start Time

• Drivers average 50 hours/week

• Must have excellent attendance and be able to pivot into different roles when needed

• Ability to Load and Unload route trucks with electric pallet jack, forklifts and lift gate

Additional Details:

• All Trucks are Manual Transmission.

• Must be OK with loading and unloading your own trucks for route deliveries

• Drive Cam in trucks.

• No electronics/Bluetooth allowed.

• Zero tolerance for cell phone and electronic devices while driving an Airgas CMV.

• Airgas operates a modern and efficient fleet.

• Most vehicles are under 6 years old and equipped with driver-friendly technology, such as On Board Computers, collision avoidance technology, latest camera technology and GPS navigation.

Are you a MATCH?

• Class A CDL with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements

• At least 21 yrs old

• A Class A CDL with 3 yrs experience of recent experience

• Hazmat and Tanker experience Preferred

• Graduated from an accredited truck driving school and have a diploma this will count as the 1 year of experience. (with in the last 4 years)

• Confirmed experience driving in the military with a CDL will also count for the required experience.

• No preventable accidents of any kind in the last 3 years.

• No more than 2 minor tickets in the last 3 years.

• No serious violation ticket (speeding 15+, reckless driving, etc) in the last 3 years.

• No suspensions of CDL in the last 3 years except for "Failure to pay child support".

• No DUI on the last 7 years.
