Class A Driver - Employee Driver

Pace is currently hiring Home Daily Full-Time CDL Class A Drivers for immediate start in our Birmingham AL market. Join a team of professional drivers who are service first, safety first, and culture first!

As a CDL Class A driver, you will be responsible for deliveries between Pace cross docks or customer locations in the Southeastern region. Work schedule is Monday-Friday on day shift - you will be home daily!!

Key Responsibilities for Class A Linehaul Truck Driver:

• Willing to complete touch freight deliveries

• Pick up freight/trailers and deliver on time to scheduled locations.

• Use Pace delivery app/scanner to track and document all deliveries.

• Maintain good relationships with our customers when delivering.

• Punctuation, and accuracy on all deliveries.

• Safety First! Driving your assigned truck safely and responsibly.

• Following all federal and/or state laws, regulations, and agency rules, standards, and guidelines.

• Reporting problems with your truck including accidents, traffic violations, and damages.

• Providing our customers with first in class experience.

What does it take to work for Pace?

• Must have at least 1 year or more of experience driving a CDL A qualified commercial vehicle.

• Must meet background and drug screening requirements.

• Drivers must be 21 or older.
