Lewis County's largest locally headquartered company is looking for a driver to deliver and set-up mobile office units for our customers. You will be based at our new state-of-the-art facility at the Port of Chehalis. You will be delivering units mainly during business hours M-F and within the local area. Well rely on you to represent Pacific Mobile and provide a great customer experience. You must be well-organized, stay connected, and confident in hauling oversized loads. A keen eye for detail and an enthusiastic attitude are valued greatly in this role.

  • Transport mobile office units to and from various locations as coordinated by dispatch
  • Stay connected with customers during route to confirm on-time delivery/pickup
  • Keep truck stocked with all material needed to complete work assigned
  • Set up mobile offices on various sites using the proper material for each job
  • Dismantle mobile offices and load material and steps into the buildings to be transported back to yard
  • Complete and maintain daily paperwork as required by branch
  • Site checks for potential units
  • Order transport permits as needed
  • Notify branch when licenses and State and Federal permits need renewing
  • Keep truck clean and washed as needed
  • Notify branch when service or repairs are required
  • Order pilot cars as needed
  • Ask for feedback on provided services and resolve clients complaints

Pay range is $23 to $26 per hour DOE. With overtime, opportunity to make $55k.


  • Valid Class A CDL with endorsements
  • Ability to frequently lift and/or move 25 to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds each day.
  • Ability to drive for up to eight hours per day with frequent stops
  • Positions one-self in order to work on all areas of the building including bending and stooping.
  • Ability to work in yard on concrete floors and uneven surfaces when not driving
  • Ability to work more than 40 hours per week and up to 12 hours per day.
  • Climbing up and down on ladders and equipment
  • Work outside in all weather conditions

The program is for anyone who is at least 60 years old that has no other means of transportation. There is no cost for the program, but donations are greatly appreciated and helps keep this program going. We can travel as far north as Seattle or as far south as Portland.Under close supervision, operates transportation vehicles of various sizes for assigned routes, for scheduled pickup assignments, and in accordance with specific manifest instructions; provides safe, secure, comfortable services to users of the CCS transportation system. Responsibilities * Operates a variety of CCS vehicles according to established schedule, assigned routes and specials excursion plans; provides assistance to passengers as needed, and assures passenger comfort and safety.• Provides safe, secure, comfortable services to users of the CCS transportation program; maintains order among passengers, explains passenger policies, provides directions, and assists customers.• Assists riders to safely board and disembark the vehicle; exits the bus and assists passengers with special needs as required; stows and secures all mobility aids and recreational gear; assures that seat belts are in use at all times.• Provides passengers with verbal and written information regarding transportation services, destinations, special announcements, and schedules.• Operates a variety of transportation vehicles in accordance with all traffic laws, regulations and procedures; identifies and reports vehicle problems requiring additional maintenance and repair.• Performs daily vehicle inspection and cleaning prior to beginning service.• Assures all required written reports are completed and submitted on a daily basis; reports any operational problems to the supervisor in a timely manner, and completes other reports required.• Cooperates with the investigation of any customer complaints; attends and successfully completes all training as scheduled by the supervisor.• Recognizes, avoids, and reports unsafe acts, conditions, accidents and injuries.• Responds to emergencies as directed and performs tasks in the interest of public safety and property protection during emergencies. * Other duties as may reasonably be assigned. Qualifications MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS * High School diploma or GED equivalent.• Experience working with elderly persons and persons with disabilities is desirable.• A combination of training and experience that would indicate the ability to successfully accomplish duties and responsibilities.• Must submit DMV Driving Abstract upon hire and every year thereafter.• Must pass drug and alcohol testing.• One year experience driving within a delivery system.• Valid Washington State Driver's License with no moving violations in the past three years.• Valid automobile insurance.• Complete the First Aid/CPR training programs with 30 days of hire.• Additional technical training may be required.• Must pass a background investigation.• Demonstrated ability to read and follow a standard road map.
