Class A CDL Driver - RKB Springfield Operations

Compensation: $24 per hour with overtime eligibility Summary: The Class A CDL Driver is a crucial part of the Operations team at Reico.

Drivers will make deliveries and provide customer service at time of delivery for our customers and sales teams. Drivers will operate all vehicles safely and responsibly to insure they are representing Reico in the best possible way. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.

Other duties may be assigned. Be well versed in all products that Reico has to offer to insure that they are being delivered accurately and without damage. Provide timely deliveries while maintaining a positive attitude and professional appearance.

Report to work on time and with the required attire such as work boots, gloves, hard hats, and long pants. Be reliable and capable of working with little or no supervision while making deliveries. Deliver all material to location indicated on the invoice or specified by our customer.

Insure that all cabinets are separated and stacked neatly with labels facing out. Inspect and sign off on marble tops to insure product is delivered in good condition. Use company check off and double check procedures to insure proper material is being delivered.

Maintain a clean and safe vehicle through proper pre-trip and post-trip inspections. Report all vehicle mechanical problems and damages to a supervisor immediately. Drive responsibly and defensively and comply with all state and D.O.T. regulations.

Communicate with sales teams and supervisors concerning any situations that may arise during the day including material not loaded on truck, material damaged on truck, driver unable to deliver material in specified time code or any other type of delay or situation which interferes with the completion of the route or with the ability of the driver to make a perfect delivery. Report to driver check-in after completing route for the day where paperwork is checked in, all delivery issues are reported and all C.O.D. money is turned in.

Assist with the unloading of extra and returned material while at driver check-in.

Assist warehouse when needed and deliver special runs when returning from route. Attend and participate in all required meetings and training classes.
