This position would ideally be based out of our Home Office in Appleton, WI. However, a relocation package or the ability to work in a remote capacity may be considered for a candidate who meets the specified qualifications.
Examine policy coverage forms and other records to determine insurance coverage.
Conduct telephone interviews and written correspondence with claimants and insureds.
Analyze, review, negotiate, and settle property/GL claims of varying complexity in a thorough manner with minimal supervision.
Assist in agency management by providing feedback to Underwriting.
Establish and monitor reserves to adequately reflect exposures, making appropriate changes as files develop.
Handle complicated losses in area(s) of expertise.
Participate on catastrophe claims as needed.
Provide superior customer service for all internal and external customers.

5-7 years of Property claims experience.
Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience.
2+ years previous Commercial and Farm / Ag claims experience.
Team lead / Senior status
Commercial and general liability experience.
Knowledge of claims laws and coverages.
Experience in evaluating contractor estimates and Xactimate estimates.
Certificate in General Insurance.
AIC, CPCU, or ARM
Fluency in Spanish.
