Full-Time: Internship

Who we are looking for?

American National is seeking Interns in our Springfield, MO location. The ideal candidate for this position would have a high attention to detail, proven ability to meet deadlines and strong interpersonal skills.

What we are looking for?

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree.

  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel & Microsoft Outlook.

  • Proficient data entry skills.

  • Strong organization skills & attention to detail w/ high level accuracy.

  • Excellent written, oral communication and comprehension skills.

  • Ability to work independently and multi-task in a fast paced environment.

  • High-level initiative, follow-through & accountability for actions.

About the Program Our 10-week, paid Corporate Internship Program begins June 1, 2020. This program offers college students the opportunity to fully immerse in the day-to-day activities of the business unit. Internship Description JH Banking Special Projects is looking for a Business Analyst Intern to join their team. The projects are centered around financial industry data and creating analytical solutions from the data. This opportunity can be located in either Springfield, MO or Monett, MO. The chosen candidate will be expected to work from the Monett location a minimum of twice a week throughout the 10-week program. Job Responsibilities Include: * Collecting data by extracting information from various databases * Reviewing data for deficiencies or errors and correcting any incompatibilities, if needed * Building dashboards that reflect areas of continuous process improvement that will continue to drive the business units forward * Apply statistical, quantitative, and analytical approaches to draw conclusions and make 'insight to action' recommendations to answer business objectives and drive change Minimum Qualifications A Student Must: * Currently be enrolled at an accredited university or college * Pursue a bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Management, Management Information Systems, or Data Analytics * Have and maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher * Be able to work up to 40 hours per week throughout the summer internship with minimum absences * Completed their sophomore year of college (at minimum) * Meet legal requirements to work in the U.S. for an indefinite period of time Preferred Qualifications * Currently pursuing an MBA, MS in Computer Science * Obtaining a certificate in Data Analytics, Data Science, and/or Financial Analysis * Advanced skillset surrounding Microsoft Office Utilities with an emphasis on Excel * Experience with Business Intelligence software * Tableau preferred * Familiar with statistical analysis * Ability to visualize and create professional dashboards for executive level review * Previous exposure to CPI / Six-Sigma Equal Employment Opportunity Applicants for U.S. based positions with Jack Henry & Associates must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
