Protective Insurance is seeking a Claims Customer Service Representative to join its Claims Department in Carmel, IN. This individual is responsible for efficiently assisting with initial claims intake and troubleshooting calls . The ideal candidate will utilize exemplary customer service and strong computer skills while supporting customers and internal staff.
Handle Claims Department inquiries via client calls
Complete requests from Claim Adjusters
Provide excellent customer service at all times
Manage input of new claims data with high level of accuracy
Work as member of the team to ensure excellent claims management
Perform any other duties in support of the Claims Department as requested
Skills & Requirements:
Associate's degree preferred or equivalent work experience required
Superior verbal and written communication skills
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Effective time management skills
Ability to provide professional and friendly customer service, customer service experience required
Contact/Call center experience preferred
Ability to use complex computer applications
Proficient use of Microsoft Office suite
