You have an amazing opportunity to work with one of the biggest insurance organizations in the world. As a Client Liaison, you will responsible for the coordination and administration of the LOA and Disability process between Zurich and our external partners.
This external facing position works closely with the claim operations manager, benefits team and functions as a liaison between internal and external customers. You will be developing and delivering customer-specific value-added services for existing and new large customers in order to build customer awareness of the organization's Value Proposition.
Key functions and expected experience:
Serves as primary contact for clients in person and telephonically to ensure timely reporting and resolution of day to day issues
Provide written and verbal updates regarding leave and disability status updates to employees, managers and HR that detail the status of their leave application and leave implications (pay, benefits, return to work, etc.).
Manage and maintain positive client relationships through service delays and quality issues
Identify trends, research root cause of service and IT issues and/or delays.
Provide input and recommendations during meetings and providing weekly updates and reports to the leadership team
Strategize and partner with leadership team to continually improve operational performance
Provide guidance in interpreting leave and disability policies, including pertinent federal and state leave laws for employees, managers, and HR
In-depth knowledge of Family Medical Leave Act, California Family Rights Act, and other applicable laws, as well as institutional leave policies
Experience working with commercial customers
Experience in addressing customer needs
