You have an amazing opportunity to work with one of the biggest insurance organizations in the world. As a Client Liaison, you will responsible for the coordination and administration of the LOA and Disability process between Zurich and our external partners.

This external facing position works closely with the claim operations manager, benefits team and functions as a liaison between internal and external customers. You will be developing and delivering customer-specific value-added services for existing and new large customers in order to build customer awareness of the organization's Value Proposition.

Key functions and expected experience:

  • Serves as primary contact for clients in person and telephonically to ensure timely reporting and resolution of day to day issues

  • Provide written and verbal updates regarding leave and disability status updates to employees, managers and HR that detail the status of their leave application and leave implications (pay, benefits, return to work, etc.).

  • Manage and maintain positive client relationships through service delays and quality issues

  • Identify trends, research root cause of service and IT issues and/or delays.

  • Provide input and recommendations during meetings and providing weekly updates and reports to the leadership team

  • Strategize and partner with leadership team to continually improve operational performance

  • Provide guidance in interpreting leave and disability policies, including pertinent federal and state leave laws for employees, managers, and HR

  • In-depth knowledge of Family Medical Leave Act, California Family Rights Act, and other applicable laws, as well as institutional leave policies

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree and 5 or more years of experience in the Claims or Underwriting area


  • High School Diploma or Equivalent and 7 or more years of experience in the Claims or Underwriting area


  • Experience working with commercial customers

  • Experience in addressing customer needs

Preferred Qualifications:

  • CPCU
  • Knowledge of Risk Management Information Systems

We currently have an exciting opportunity available for an experienced RCM Account Receivable Representative II. Responsibilities The RCM Account Receivable Representative II is responsible for all assigned contracted and/or non-contracted carriers as well as self-pay accounts to ensure proper payment of claims and/or patient responsibility. * Researches all assigned contracted and/or non-contracted carrier and self-pay accounts to ensure the proper payment through reports, spreadsheets and special projects as deemed necessary. * Processes correspondence related to assigned contracted and/or non-contracted carriers including self-pay accounts. * Maintains denial reports and ensures accounts are properly documented. * Responds to customer service calls and strives for one time resolution of accounts received. * Researches denied and improperly processed claims by contacting assigned carriers to ensure proper processing of said claims. * Resubmits improperly paid/denied claims to the carrier for proper payment in a timely manner. * Identifies and corrects any claim processing errors due to data entry, verification, coding and/or posting mistakes. Ensures accounts are properly documented. * Call and check claim status, work A/R and insurance carrier reports, and insurance denials * Handle and organize all aspects of the appeals process for all insurance payers (letters, phone calls, special projects from carriers). * For facility based employees, responsibilities may include: * Posts all charges and payments for accounts and balances daily activity * Interface with front office staff regarding insurance/patient issues * Other duties as assigned Qualifications * High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) and 2 or more years of related experience * Good organizational skills * Able to prioritize work daily * Communicate and work well in a team environment * Meet established production and quality goals/metrics * Follow up in a timely manner on open items * Able to effectively prioritize work on a daily basis * Microsoft Office Suite * Healthcare Billing System (AS400 preferred) If you are ready to join an exciting, progressive company and have a strong work ethic, join our team of experts!
