Position Summary: This position is responsible for providing analytical, technical and administrative support for various functions within the Risk Management Department to include, but not limited to, claims by and against the company; Workers' Compensation claims; and Property and Casualty insurance claims. The Claims Analyst will also provide support to other risk department initiatives.
Position Responsibilities
Investigation, resolution and administration of customer property damage complaints.
Investigation, preparation and collection of LCEC property damage claims.
Work with internal departments and external agencies to collect data and facts relating to insurance claims for and against the company.
Provide excellent customer service working to external customers during the complaint resolution process.
Develop and maintain various technical and confidential data bases and files.
Develop and deliver various reports.
Receive, review, and track certificates of insurance for LCEC vendors.
Assist with record audits and develop findings reports.
Compile data, develop, prepare and deliver various reports to include internal distribution of reports and notifications.
Provide administrative support and coordinate internal and external training and educational opportunities delivered by the risk department.
Provide support and assistance in the development and tracking of various risk management activities.
Provide current and accurate information as requested in a courteous and timely manner.
Maintain effective working relationships with employees at all levels within LCEC and external contacts.
Ensure smooth operations, productive communications, and effective understanding during all interpersonal contacts.
Participate in storm preparation and restoration activities as needed.
