Claims Service Administrator
Under moderate supervision, reviews instructions from claim processes and procedures for accuracy and updates the Claims Tracking system accordingly.
Able to sort various life and disability application/claim documents.
Adheres to prioritization of processing to meet turnaround time requirements.
Adheres to processing and production standards set for the position.
Prepares standard status and closing letters based on the processes and procedures for the position.
Handles daily phone calls to assist callers with claim forms,etc.
Claims experience is preferable
Very good with attention to detail
Works well independently and in a team environment.
High School Diploma required
Claims experience preferred
Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with internal and external customers.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
Detail oriented to ensure accuracy
Computer skills and the ability to navigate through multiple systems without assistance
Microsoft Word and Excel knowledge
