A Claim representative responds to notifications of discrepancies reported by customers. Notifications are in regards to product discrepancies. It is the role of the Claim representative to act as mediator between the outside parties and internal personnel to resolve this issue. The position is a high volume, fast-paced environment needing extreme attention to detail.

Requirements:

  • Excellent phone, computer, organizational and multi-tasking skills

  • 1-2 years customer service experiences with the ability to problem solve.

  • Basic to Intermediate Excel skills are required.

  • Bachelor's or Associate Degree in Animal Science, Accounting, Business or related field preferred.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with sales, plant personnel, customer service, customers.

  • Communicate information to plants and customers.

  • Answer calls and respond to emails on any discrepancies in a timely manner.

  • Maintain all claim data in excel.

  • Forward information from customers to our plants for review and approval.

  • Enter approved claims in SAP.

  • Supply the customer the completed claim number.

  • Work with Pilgrims staff to resolve the claims reported.

  • Follow all Standard Operational Procedures to ensure claims are processed in a timely manner and according to approvals submitted.

  • Assist co-workers when needed

  • No travel required.

It is the role of the Claim representative to act as mediator between the outside parties and internal personnel to resolve this issue. Requirements: * Excellent phone, computer, organizational and multi-tasking skills * 2- 3 years' customer service experiences with the ability to problem solve. * Bachelor's or Associate Degree in Animal Science, Accounting, Business or related field preferred. Duties and Responsibilities: * Work closely with sales, truck lines, field reps, plant personnel, customer service, accounts receivable, customers and traffic. (Cause of issues consist of stolen loads, short product, temperature issues, specfication and box damges) * Communicate information to dispatchers and drivers on rejected loads. * Able to make decisions about product dispostion to mitigate losses that are in the best interest of the company. * Answer calls and respond to emails on any discrepancies in a timely manner. * Acquire required documentation needed to determine liability. * Enter claims in SAP to be processed. * Review legal documentation and determine if the parties involved have provided the required information to process a claim. * Review carrier documentation and decide if they have fulfilled their contractual requirements. * Work with JBS staff to resolve the claims reported. * Follow all Standard Operation Procedures to determine the liability of all claims. * Assist co-workers when needed * No travel required.
