Job Title: Civil/Structural Engineer

Job Description

Seeking a qualified Civil/Structural Engineer to facilitate civil and structural installations such as foundations and steel erection, and manage commissioning activities. This role involves providing expert assistance in reviewing product and equipment submittals, shop drawings, engineering design drawings, specifications, and contractor generated RFIs. The successful candidate will ensure safety and compliance with building codes during installations, and coordinate with construction contractors and equipment vendors for equipment testing, delivery, installation, and commissioning. This role requires onsite presence, allows for overtime hours, and involves approximately 10% domestic travel.

Hard Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering

• Knowledge of safety procedures and OSHA requirements

• Familiarity with building codes and industry standards (IBC, NEC, NESC, NFPA, AMCA, ARI, AWS, ASHRAE, FM)

• Experience with construction administration activities

Soft Skills

• Ability to communicate technical matters effectively in written and verbal formats

• Strong multitasking and time management skills

• Ability to prioritize project commitments

Job Type

This is a contract position with a duration of 95 Weekly.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Liberty, North Carolina.

Work Environment

Onsite role with allowance for overtime hours and required domestic travel (about 10%)
