Currently looking for a Civil/Structural Engineer to join their growing team

Description:

• Would responsible for evaluations and design of finite element models for structures impacted with, tornado missiles, blast overpressure, seismic and vehicle crash loads.

• You will also use a variety of software packages for these evaluations and designs; including ANSYS, LS-DYNA and GTSTRUDL.

• Must be willing to learn and operate these software packages, generating calculation packages, and generating or supervising the generation of drawings.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• BS or MS Degree, PE or ability to obtain

• 5-10 years' experience

• Knowledge of at least one; ANSYS, LS-DYNA, or GTSTRUDL

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, US Citizenship

• Knowledge of MS Office software and MathCAD

• Ability to travel to clients when project requires ( < 33%, Typical)

• Ability to think outside the box to provide innovative solutions

• Some supervisory experience

MUST HAVES

1.2-10 years experience

2.Knowledge of at least one; ANSYS, LS-DYNA, or GTSTRUDL

3.knowledge of ACI and PCI concrete codes

4.BS or MS Degree, PE or ability to obtain
