Civil/Municipal Engineer

Municipal Civil Engineer (PE) Located in the vibrant northern suburbs of Detroit, our team is seeking a skilled Municipal Civil Engineer to join us in tackling exciting challenges in water, wastewater, and stormwater engineering projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead complex civil engineering assignments for municipal clients.
• Direct a team in preparing plans and specifications.
• Oversee planning, procurement, and construction phases.
• Prepare cost estimates and monitor construction progress.
• Ensure contractual obligations are met and maintain client satisfaction.
• Attend various meetings, including after-hours sessions.
• Foster relationships across divisions for project success.
• Control project forecasts, budgets, and quality.

Job Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• 6+ years' experience in Municipal Water and/or Wastewater projects.
• Professional Engineer (PE) Registration in Michigan or ability to obtain.
• Proficiency with Project Management software preferred.
• Experience in hydraulic modeling is advantageous.
• Experience with Civil 3D and appropriate software.
