Job Description

AECOM is actively seeking a talented Civil Transportation Engineer II to join our Boston, MA office. Here you will have the opportunity to work with our regional World Class Transportation Team on complex transportation projects to include transit, roadway and bridge projects.

Typical duties and responsibilities:

• Gather and correlate basic engineering data using established and well-defined procedures.+ Work within the Transit/Rail group on the planning and design of civil engineering projects including local railroads, roadways, highways, interstates, freight and transit, drainage improvements and utility relocation and protection.+ Preparation of reports, construction plans, and technical specifications.+ Collaborate with design teams consisting of multidiscipline design engineers, technicians, and planners.+ Working under supervision of a project manager or senior-level team members and assist with tasks including preparing engineering related calculations, drawings, and visual aids.+ Following corporate quality procedures.

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• BA/BS Civil Engineering plus 2 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Engineer-in-Training (EIT).+ Experience with AutoCAD, Open Roads, MicroStation and/or Inroad's software.

Offered rate of compensation will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The range for this position is $76,000. to $110,000..
