Civil Project Engineer

Job Responsibilities: Assist in preparing project budgets Prepares plans, specifications, reports, permits, and designs for project. Prepares design computations and quantity estimates. Develops probable construction cost estimates for projects. Mentoring and training staff engineers or other entry level employees. Understanding permit requirements and processes. Coordinates with design team including staff from multiple locations and/or disciplines Coordinates with Clients and jurisdictions to obtain project approvals Follows and enforces company policies and procedures Performs other duties as assigned Job Qualifications: BS in Civil Engineering 4 years experience PE License preferred Proficient with AutoCAD and Civil 3D Proficient with other engineering software required in area of expertise Physical Requirements: May require the ability to sit for long periods of time, stand, walk, and manipulate (carry, lift, move) light to medium weights of 10-30 pounds. Ability to walk construction job sites. Requires good hand-eye coordination, arm, hand, and finger dexterity, including the ability to grasp, and visual acuity to use a keyboard, operate technical equipment, read technical information and to analyze complex data.
