Civil Project Engineer

We are currently looking to add a Civil Project Engineer to our team.

As a Civil Project Engineer, your responsibilities will include: Responsibilities: Analyze and prepare project designs, calculations and drawings for a wide range of civil infrastructure initiatives including water, wastewater, and stormwater design, with guidance provided on complex matters Use appropriate project management software to track project tasks and timelines, ensuring timely completion of project stages in accordance with project schedule Approach tasks with a project mindset, to include coordination with other disciplines throughout the duration of the project; propose innovative solutions to design problems with an understanding of project scope and goals Assign, track, and review tasks of technicians, designers, and engineers, ensuring adherence to project schedules; QC final work product Prepare engineering reports and contract documents for review; perform independent peer reviews on team work products Review contract plans and calculations from other engineering teams and outside entities to verify completion and compliance with governing infrastructure design codes and contract plans and specifications Potential to serve as the Engineer-of-Record for mid-size and miscellaneous infrastructure designs Effectively present proposed team design solutions as part of internal project meetings; attend and contribute to presentations with external parties Adhere to company marketing requirements by providing timely personal resume updates, providing technical proposal support, and participating in marketing campaigns Ensure timely completion of time sheets, expense reports, and labor hours management Take ownership of personal and team member career development by seeking and providing feedback, seizing opportunities to develop and teach new skills, and setting and pursuing goals Contribute to the development of team members through mentorship and modeling positive behaviors LI-Hybrid Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering Engineer In-Training (EI) - Preferred Years of Experience: 3 years BCC Engineering and its affiliated companies provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws.
