Civil Engineer – Land Development – Base Salary to 85k/year – College Station, TX

• Our client, a prominent civil land development company located in College Station, TX, is dedicated to delivering excellence in project design and execution. With a focus on business parks, commercial, and residential land development projects, our client is seeking a skilled Civil Engineer to join their dynamic team.
• The Civil Engineer will play a pivotal role in designing and drafting plans for business parks, commercial properties, and residential land development projects. The Civil Engineer will work closely with project managers and other team members to ensure that designs meet client expectations and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Design and draft plans for business parks, commercial properties, and residential land development projects.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and objectives.
• Conduct site visits and surveys to gather necessary data for design work.
• Prepare detailed drawings, site plans, and construction documents using CAD software.
• Ensure that designs comply with zoning regulations, building codes, and other applicable standards.
• Review and revise plans based on feedback from clients, regulatory agencies, and project team members.
• Assist in the preparation of cost estimates and project proposals.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Drafting, or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in civil engineering or drafting, preferably in land development projects.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar drafting software.
• Strong understanding of civil engineering principles and practices.
• Knowledge of zoning regulations, building codes, and permitting processes.

Compensation:

• Base salary in the 65k – 85k/year range
