Our West geography is looking for an experienced Civil Engineer to play a vital role on a variety of exciting site development and civil infrastructure projects. This position can be based in Los Angeles, San Francisco, or Seattle.
Responsibilities:
Design of site development, grading, utilities, roadway, drainage and other key elements of civil engineering projects
Prepare and review drawings ranging from conceptual and feasibility studies to detailed design and construction documents
Build 3D models in a BIM design environment and perform design optimizations, quantity evaluations, and clash detections
Coordinate with internal and external design partners including SMEP, architecture and landscape architecture, geotechnical engineering, transportation planning, urban planning, environmental engineering, and cost engineering
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering; Master's Degree preferred.
California EIT license preferred
2+ years of experience in civil engineering/site development
Knowledge of core civil engineering fundamentals such as hydrologic and hydraulic analysis, low impact development, utility design, grading and earthwork, roadway and geometric alignments, and accessibility standards.
Working knowledge of civil engineering design and analysis software, particularly AutoCAD Civil 3D.
