Job Description

Established in 1971, Actalent's client is a full-service civil engineering firm is based in Silver Spring, MD with additional offices in Fairfax, Frederick, and Gaithersburg. We are currently seeking a mid-level or entry-level Civil Engineer with experience in Land Development for commercial and private sector projects. The successful candidate will join our Private Sector Division and work on projects such as 1 lot projects, existing subdivision projects, and pond retrofits. Candidates with experience in Montgomery County and PG County will be prioritized.

Hard Skills

• AutoCAD (LDD preferred)

• Civil 3D

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or environmental engineering

Soft Skills

• Independent

• Ability to think on their feet

Work Site

This is a hybrid position requiring some days on-site in Silver Spring, Maryland and some days remote.

Work Environment

The headquarters in Silver Spring houses around 50 employees. A significant goal is to hire less experienced engineers to train them in our company processes.
